FANTASIE: A DUO PROJECT

I have spent 5 years in Luzern, obtaining two master degrees in music performance, and working as an assistant professor of Konstantin Lifschitz during the last year of my studies there.

The best aspect of studying in a music institution is contacts and collaborations, in other words: people.

Anastasia Schmidlin is a fantastic clarinetist, whose practicing I was delighted to listen to quite frequently, since she has rented an appartment right above ours in Lucerne. I was of course “returning a favor” at times, shaking building walls by practicing piano literature monstrosities.

Anastasia entails world class musical skills with excellent organizational and personal qualities, and being invited to collaborate with her is joy and honor.

The program features various Fantasies for Clarinet solo, Piano solo, and Clarinet & Piano.

For those of you who are in Switzerland, you are warmly welcomed to visit our recital on October 23 in Schlössli-Warteg in Luzern.
